What you see is my kula theivam Munusamy, the family god. Right from the my childhood I remember my mom going to the backyard of my home to offer prayers to our family god. She would often say wherever we are never forget to workship Munusamy. Our god does not have any face, three house bricks, a small amount of kumkumam and manjal is fine to make the god. On any occasion munusamy god will be offered with suruttu, country liquor (sarayam, nowadays a quator bottle straight from wine shop), live goat and chicken. Now the current generation does not allow any goat or chicken but we are fine with quator after all our uncle takes it after the prayer is done
